Music Theory Mini Course – Building Blocks, Part 1
A tiny course on (some of) the most basic elements of music theory
About the Course:
- A short, narrowly focused theory course (instead of something long and broad)
- Learn the essential intervals and how they are used to create scales and chords
- How to identify chords and scales based on the intervals in them
- Change chords and scales by moving one or two notes around
- Apply the concepts to real music in meaningful ways
The Essential Info:
- Available in person and via Zoom (only for those not local)
- 4 Weeks Long (meeting in 4 consecutive weeks)
- Weekly class meets every Monday at 5:30pm for 1 hour
- Begins Monday, July 17
