Finally Learn Fingerstyle Guitar
— The Right Way
A hands-on evening workshop for guitarists who are tired of guessing and ready to build real technique.
If you’ve ever tried to learn fingerstyle from YouTube, you know how it goes.
You find a tutorial, follow along, and it sounds… okay. But something feels off — your hand position, your tone, the tension creeping into your wrist after ten minutes. And because no one is watching you play, you have no idea if you’re building good habits or quietly reinforcing bad ones.
That’s exactly what this workshop is designed to fix.
Who This Is For
This workshop is a great fit if you:
- Can play basic chords and want to add fingerstyle to your toolkit
- Have dabbled in fingerstyle on your own but aren’t sure if you’re doing it right
- Want to play more expressively — fingerpicking opens up a whole world of sound that a pick can’t give you
- Are serious enough about your playing to invest a focused evening into it
What You’ll Work On
- Picking hand technique — Precision, tone, and consistency through guided exercises you genuinely can’t self-teach from a screen
- Hand position and posture — The foundational habits that prevent tension, fatigue, and injury over a lifetime of playing
- Fretting hand efficiency — Fingerstyle naturally demands cleaner, more precise fretting — we’ll train both hands together
- Slow, deliberate practice habits — The kind of focused repetition that actually produces lasting progress
- Real-time feedback — You’ll play, I’ll watch, and we’ll correct what needs correcting before it becomes a habit
